Small group adventure travel in remote and pristine locations, authentic hospitality, fantastic horsepower, highly talented local teams and quality equipment.  We specialise in equestrian adventures, as lifelong riders ourselves and organisers of the world-famous Mongol Derby, but there are many ways to appreciate this incredible country and we also offer non-riding, or hybrid, tours, and bespoke travel services for guests with more or less time, or specialised interests.

Mongolia is a unique and precious country, whose remoteness can make it hard to access beyond a superficial taste. The team at Morindoo have the keys to this country and look forward to giving you privileged and responsible access to our favourite places, most trusted friends and neighbors, and finest most reliable horses.

Morindoo?

The phrase translates literally as the command “Mount Your Horses”. It was reputedly Chinggis Khaan’s battle cry and hence has a much deeper resonance and meaning in Mongolia. Under the Soviets, the phrase became highly politicized and contraband, as efforts were made to obscure Chinggis Khaan and the Mongol Empire from the history books. In recent years he has had a renaissance in Mongolian culture and is generally celebrated as the father of the country. His dependence on and respect for the horse in his campaigns and their continued importance and centrality in Mongolian culture today is neatly reflected in the word, and our company name.
