** Covid-19 statement August 1st 2020
We are opening bookings for 2021 during a time of unprecedented uncertainty. To alleviate some of that uncertainty, we will issue full refunds in the event that a trip must be cancelled due to Covid-19. We want you to feel confident in making your booking, in spite of all the current uncertainty surrounding international travel. Please refer to your own travel insurance for clarity on conditions of refund in the event that you choose not to travel when one of our trips actually can and does go ahead (for example if you are in a high-risk category and advised the shield). Most good insurers now pay out in full in this scenario.
Confirmation and payment
Please use the booking form to book your trip. Once we have your details we will send you an invoice for the deposit, of 50% of the trip cost, and once this is paid your booking is confirmed and your place assured. We use Transferwise for all our international payments and take all entry fees in USD.
The balance is payable eight weeks before the adventure starts. We will send you a reminder when the payment is due. If you are booking a trip within eight weeks of the start of the tour, we will need the full balance up front.
Our bank details will be issued in your invoice.
Cancellation policy: Our responsibility
All trips require a minimum number of guests in order to run. We will always endeavour to adapt a trip rather than cancel it, but this may be unavoidable. Feel free to keep in touch with us about this and we will always give you as much notice as possible in the unlikely event that we have to cancel a trip. If a trip must be cancelled, you will be refunded in full.
Cancellation policy: Your responsibility
If you cannot make it for some reason, give us as much notice as you can. If we can refund you at no cost to us, for example if we get a late addition to the group, we will do so. However, because we naturally incur costs on the assumption that you are coming, this won’t always be possible. Payments are non refundable if there is less than four weeks cancellation notice. With more than four weeks notice, we will retain your 50% deposit and refund the balance. If you have a good reason to cancel, for example an injury or a medical problem, your own travel insurance should cover any loss. For this reason, we recommend that you book early and get your travel insurance.
If a trip is cancelled due to the Covid-19 in 2020 and in 2021, we will issue a full refund.
